How to Sneak in late on a Wednesday:

1)Wait till lunch

2) leave your jacket in your car ( you need to look like you were in the office all morning)

3) Slip by reception and find out who hasn't come in today (Hint: Yellow post it notes by the phone). Remove the note, so that there is no evidence that he is away because his daughter has an operation ( probably just an excuse anyway)

4) Grab any piece of paper at all and walk around saying "Has anybody seen Dan? I've been looking all morning for him."

You= off the hook.
Dan= Big trouble

How to Sneak out Early on a Friday

1) Confirm that no new projects are going to show up on your desk. Ask around… be absolutely sure..
2) As you check, let people know that you will be incredibly busy all afternoon. That way they won't just drop by your desk for a chat.
3) Turn off the screen saver on your computer…. Were you really that concerned about the screen on your computer? Couldn't you use a new monitor anyway?
4) Pull the following items from your briefcase:
-Jacket - throw it over the side of your divider or on the back of your chair…. As long as people see a jacket, they will assume you are still in the office somewhere.
-Assorted stationary items. If you have post-it notes stuck to your monitor, remove them and stick them in a row along the side of your desk… now it appears as if you are completing projects..If you don't have post-it notes stuck to your monitor, now is a good time to put some up in order to appear busy (don't forget to write on them!).
-An open stapler with no staples
-an unopened 'stress ball' and a copy of this month's 'Guns and Ammo". Leave it on your chair. It's your last line of defense When your co-workers see this on your chair… they won’t wait around…

5) Switch your phone to busy and make for the Ship and Anchor Pub!!!
